About Cassy

Hello. I'm Cassy. I'm a twenty-five-year-old graphic designer and aspiring author.

I am currently working on the second revision my second novel (is good things come in two's a saying? I feel like it's a saying. I'm making it a saying) after recently scrapping my first completed manuscript. It was my baby for over six years, and it was time to set it aside. Your gut knows when it's time to let go. Listen to it.

My current work in progress is a YA Contemporary Fantasy titled THE SECRETS OF RAYNE, which follows a seventeen-year-old girl's desperate attempt to flee the FBI, who has used her for her ability to see others' secrets for the past seven years.

I have two favorite quotes: "Everything that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that has yet to come" and "Don't give up on a goal for the amount of time it will take to reach it. The time will pass anyway."

My biggest piece of advice is that success comes with humility. There is always something to learn. Pride is the enemy.

When I'm not at work or writing, you can find me lifting heavy things at the gym, eating food, or searching the craft store aisles for supplies for my next DIY project.
